Technology @Brooks
!! Update !!
Technology @Brooks
Brooks Center for STEM & The Arts is proud to introduce the "Google Chromebook". The Chromebook is similar to a laptop, but runs the Chrome operating system and can turn on in under 7 seconds! This piece of technology is a great opportunity to explore student collaboration and project-based learning. This is an exciting new adventure for the district and Brooks is the first school to pilot the Chromebook in Wichita. By the end of the 2014-2015 school year, all 6th and 7th grade teachers will have a set of 32 Chromebooks in their classrooms.

Welcome to Brooks Middle School
Welcome back to the 2014-2015 school year!!

With the 40+ buses that arrive morning and afternoon at Brooks, we want to make sure our students and Brooks community are arriving and departing safely. Students arriving by car can be dropped off & picked up in the east parking lot or on side streets.
Please DO NOT stop your vehicle on 27th street to drop off your student. With all the traffic, this poses safety concerns for students crossing the street. Students walking should cross at crosswalks/intersections. As time goes on, students will arrive to school in the dark, making crossing the street at crosswalks especially important.

Thanks for helping keep our students, parents and community safe!
